A beautiful boutique Pilates studio in Moonta
Welcome to Kara Pilates, a relaxed boutique studio located in the coastal town of Moonta, South Australia.
With small class sizes and seven superior reformers, our studio is designed to give every client the attention, care and support they deserve. Whether you are completely new to Pilates, an experienced mover, an elite athlete, recovering from injury, or simply wanting to manage everyday aches, stress and tension, our instructors will guide you safely through every class.
At Kara Pilates, every class is different, so you can continue learning, progressing and challenging yourself. However, each session is built on the same strong foundation, staying true to the Pilates principles of breath, control, organisation, alignment and movement integration.
Our goal is to understand your journey, support your body and create a space where you can build strength, confidence and connection, while enjoying yourself along the way.
Our Studio
Kara Pilates is not just a workout — it’s an experience.
Our beautiful upstairs studio features five-metre ceilings, a grand bookcase and stunning second-storey views over the town. During our early-bird classes, you can watch the sunrise through five grand arched windows as you move, stretch and strengthen.
It is a peaceful, welcoming space created for movement, connection and taking time for yourself.
New to Kara Pilates?
We would love to welcome you into the studio.
Please arrive 5 minutes early for your first class so we can show you around, introduce ourselves, discuss your goals and health profile, and help you feel comfortable in the space.
Classes run for one hour unless stated otherwise.
What to wear
Wear comfortable workout-style clothing that allows you to move freely.
Socks are compulsory for all Pilates classes for safety and hygiene. Any socks will do, but grip socks are preferred. If you don’t have any, we have a great range available to purchase in the studio.
What to bring
We have all the Pilates equipment ready for you. Just bring yourself, water and a towel for your comfort during class.
